NexGen Fantasy Sports and the game of Gridiron Omniscience were created for simple reasons….

-We wanted a game that best represented how knowledgeable the player is when it comes to the game of football.
-Eliminate the lucky nature of traditional fantasy football & put the control in your hands.
-Help everyone once again become fans of the game of game of football & not just the players.

The seeds for this game were planted over 20 years ago in the little town of Waupaca, WI. As was usually the case, Cris and I felt our study hall time should be used to talk football instead of working on homework. The seeds finally came up around 2012 when Cris and I started designing the game that would become “The League of Gridiron Omniscience” or LOGO, as we called it. Over many hours of discussion and design we launched our first season utilizing social media and excel to manage our league. We found out that first season that our hybrid game struck a chord with other football fans and we were off and running!! The game and its members grew in the second and third seasons but unfortunately our busy personal lives forced us to put the game on an indefinite hiatus. Then, in 2015 our fortunes changed when Jake, one of our charter members, expressed interest in reviving our dream of changing the fantasy football landscape! Jake brought his friend Tony on board to handle all the fancy nerd stuff and suddenly what we feared was dead was very much alive again! Many hours of labor and deliberation have led us to here…with a product that allows all true football fans to compete against each other from kickoff weekend until the confetti falls in early February and definitively answer the question….Who is the most knowledgeable football fan?
